ECOLOGICAL HOUSE IN ANTUGNAC- LANGEDOC-ROUSSILLON

2010 - A large extension to a small house on a plot with a panoramic view over the Bugarach and Rennes le Château. Building blocks (briques creuses) with a hemp lime plaster and wood. To avoid a lot of groundwork, I designed a split-level house. From the kitchen 5 steps lead up to the living room with a mezzanine floor above the kitchen. The sliding shutters protect the upper room from the sun, but allow the light to come in.

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” (Leonardo da Vinci)
